When you go on Vacation, your beauty vibe – Natural or Glam?

The debate! Some people look at vacation as a time to break free of their beauty routines and truly embrace the freedom of vacation. No make up, no straightening irons and truly comfy clothing. (FYI Rhianna and Selena Gomez embrace this vibe) , while others use their vacation as an opportunity to bring on the glam. I personally love the idea of breaking free of all my routines including my beauty regimen on vacation. I prefer to just use really great sunscreen with a tint and maybe a tiny bit of gloss.

If you do ‘bring it’ on vacation or are something in between, below are some of the ‘go to’s’. Tip: if you travel a lot, consider having separate travel items already packed so its easy to grab and go.

Great Sunscreen – I like Super Goop Tinted Sunscreen because it does double duty (part skin protection, part makeup)

2. Light Weight Moisturizer– moisturizing on vacation is a must and I personally like to ‘treat my skin’ while I am on vacation. When I am at home I will use something more basic like Cetaphil, but on vacation I love spoiling myself a bit and really enjoy using the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream – it has an efficient pump for travel and and for cleanser I love Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel.

3. Moisturizing Sleep Mask – I admit I do not do this at home, but when I am on vacation and have more time, I like indulging my skin a bit and it feels like a treat. I love the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask.

4. Giorgio Armani Gloss – this is lightweight, not too sticky and has a range of colors from subtle to not so subtle.

5. Travel Hair Tools – I know people who will avoid the water at all costs because they fear it getting wet and dont want to deal with the after math. The Dyson air wrap is a game changer for people its truly a blowout you can easily do on your own. A big runner up and my personal favorite that I cant live without is the Revlon One Step – it is truly an easy way of getting a great look fast. So easy that I can even do it!

6. Some people can’t live without their hair straightener, that’s why I prefer the Dyson air wrap because it’s dryer, straighter, round brush all in one. But for those that want just a straight up hair straightener the L’Ange Hair Flat Iron is mini but powerful.
