Sipping coffee on my hotel balcony before everyone wakes up is one of my best pleasures on vacation. I get to watch the sunrise, read and drinking good coffee is an absolute must.
I was surprised the other day as I was talking to a friend who admitted to traveling with their own coffee maker on vacations – I thought I was the only one! Most hotels and airbnbs have their own machine, but it’s not always great and the coffee it comes with is meh. I would rather not take the risk!
I have rounded up three great travel coffee makers to take on vacation if you are as coffee obsessed as I am!
- The Nespresso Mini This is the most adorable and compact high powered machine that makes the most delicious coffee drinks. The price point of $108 pays for itself if you are a big coffee drinker on vacation. It’s small, compact and fits easily in a carry on.

2. French Press For those that prefer a French press coffee, this mini French Press travels easy. To be extra careful, I would wrap this in clothing (just in case as it is glass).

3. Nano Portable Electric Coffee – Tech Meets Taste! This travel coffee maker works with ground coffee and coffee capsules (Illy, Lavazza, Kimbo, Cafe Royal, L’OR, Jacobs, and Nespresso).
