I grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and wow has the city changed. Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and it is surrounded by water and mountains, the natural beauty of Vancouver is absolutely stunning.

Vancouver is also home to a vibrant downtown and there is no shortage of great restaurants. I often get asked where is the best place to stay in Vancouver and my advice is to stay close to on the waterfront or near the downtown core. While you will likely have a car rental, it is so nice to be able to just walk around. If you are traveling with kids, it’s also nice to just step out of your hotel and be able to grab a coffee or a quick bite to eat without having to ‘travel’.
