So many people swear by the fact that participating in Disney’s Fish Extender (gift exchange between cabins) really adds something magical to their cruise. They love coming back to their room to see what has been gifted to them/their kids and others find it very stressful – what to buy, how to pack it etc. The key thing to remember is this is supposed to be fun and it’s the thought that counts!
WHAT TO GIVE
Many people make homemade gifts or are very good at crafts and others (like me) are not handy at all. Below is meant to be a few suggestions to get your imagination going on what you can provide. Since FE’s are for every age group (your individual cruise would have likely had sign up sheets), I have broken the inspiration list down by age/type of FE.
A FEW TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND
- Think about packability (can you pack it easily and can the recipient take it home easily).
- Give what you like to receive (try and avoid dollar store items)
- Can the item easily fit in an FE pocket? If not, think about having to pack an extra gift bag to contain your item.
