Packing for a trip always leaves me in a frenzy and especially when it comes to the carry-on bag I will have on the plane. I am terrified I will forget something. Below is a handy checklist so you don’t forget anything.

1. IPAD: I used this for entertainment, online shopping, checking messages etc. 

• Air Pods or Noise Canceling Headphones: Great for watching movies, but also if you have a fear of flying this is a great way to block out all the various pings and dings. 

• Portable Charger: Nothing is worse than running out of battery power on your devices. 

• Medicine: You never know when you may have an upset stomach or a headache. I love this portable little kit. It stays in my carryon bag so I never am without it. 

• Zip Lock Bags: So strange to carry on, but these are so handy. Especially if you have kids and need a quick airsickness bag or need to put a change of clothes in the bag 

• Water Bottle: Staying hydrated on a plane is so important. While the plane gives you water, I always prefer to have my own bottle that keeps my water icy cold. 

• Compact Travel Blanket/Pillow: I am always cold on the plane. Having your own comfy compact blanket and pillow is a game changer. These are very handy because they are pretty and compact. 

• Hand Sanitizer: Goes without saying, this is a must have. This Juicy 3 pack is a favorite as it doesn’t dry your hands out and has a great light (but not overpowering) scent.

• Wipes: Wiping down your arm rest, tray table are always a good idea. Some flights do a fast turn around so I always feel better about wiping my own area down. 
• Book: Being on the plane for many is ‘me time’ and having a great book to get immersed in is the best way to decompress. Read my blog post on best books that hook you from page 1.
